It would seem that the saying “You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink” is very true. No matter how hard you try, no matter how much you do some people never seem to want to embrace the truth. This blog is written by many members of the church not just by one person, it is true to day that it is compiled by one person, but many people contribute to its content. We are not afraid to tell the truth no matter how much some people wish to hid from it. We as a church have had many people come and sit in discussion with us, some have been more open than others, but there are some that would wish to engage in secret discussions to save face with those of other Mormon sects. We will not condone this act. It says in the Book of Mormon that secret acts are not of God but of the devil...we are not ashamed to say that we have had many LDS Mormons in our midst wanting to know the truth, but that many of them only hear what they want and many are so afraid to be found out that they either stop coming or they deny that the meetings ever took place. It makes me wonder what sort of people they are as to have such a terrifying hold over other people, and what lies they are told to keep hold of these people. We are believers in the Christ, we worship him and we pay tribute to him in our worship. We want all people especially those LDS Mormons to see past the lies and falsehoods of the history of the LDS church. Wake up see the lies that you have been told and come and hear what we have to say.

The Prophet of the church has asked if the following statement be added to the blog this week, so I have posted it on the blog:-

I know without a doubt that we are doing is of God. However many others either do not believe this or are indifferent about not only our beliefs but their own. I know what I am going to say now will not be embraced with anything else other than hatred and guile, but I wish to stress that I say these words with compassion and love in my heart and I say them with the authority of God himself. Many people including members of my extended family have not the slightest clue of what we teach or even believe in. Many of my extended family don't even have what can be termed a testimony of the religions they are apart of. I say this because they have not fulfilled much of the criteria for having a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet they continue to carry on in the religion and the beliefs they have become accustomed to because the pull of such things is stronger than themselves, as such they have become like the Lamanites of the Book of Mormon or even the children of Lioneck of the Book of Jeraneck. We know from reading the lectures on faith that it is by knowledge that we can know God for knowledge breeds faith and that knowledge will allow us to see the very face of God. We are first to study and learn and then and only then can we know that God lives. Many people including my extended family have never read the Book of Mormon let alone study it, neither have they ever read the Bible Old and New testament, not to mention the Doctrine and Covenants. It seems that to do as the scriptures state we must first read then gain a knowledge, for example how can you truly know that Joseph Smith Jr is a true Prophet of God if you have never read the Book of Mormon, which is the very key stone of the man and his mission, not to mention the Doctrine and Covenants which contain the doctrines and commandments of God given through Joseph Smith Jr the Prophet, the answer you cant, its impossible and to think otherwise is just plain stupidity and foolishness. My extended family and they know who they are, are in what I like to term the bubble zone. They are so content and comfortable that they just coast along. I remember a conversation I had with one of my extended family a while ago and they admitted that as long as you feel comfortable at church that is all that matters, is it, is it all that matters? To Enoch and his family I say this, one day the Lord will ask “Who's side are you on” “What knowledge have you gained of my gospel” and we will have to stand ready to answers. We cant afford to be fence sitters its just not what God wants, remember he says that he will spew forth from his mouth all those that are lukewarm. What are you? It is more noble to say that I don't know what is true and withdraw and find out than it is to hide yourself away and just carry on as normal. Some times it is hard to do but the rewards are great. That brings me on to the Book of Jeraneck. How many have you have read it? I know who has copies and who hasn't. My extended family have a copy, have they read it have they prayed about it? Most of them would rather pick at it try to find fault rather than come to me and ask me about it, why? The answers to these things are to be found in the sentences above. A family from the LDS church also have a copy of the book and they are also just picking at it. Now i say to you, ask yourselves this. Are the questions that you asked us to answer that night you came to our house still relevant in your mind? are they still troubling you? Then do what your heart and spirit are telling you to do and stop fighting it.

I love all those that wish to seek the truth and i love all those that are stuck in there ways. However the truth is here it is within your reach don't let things like jobs or pier pressure stop you from embracing the truth or even talking about it with us, remember it says by their fruits ye shall know them. If you lose friends or jobs because of the decision you make to come unto us and talk and embrace what we have to say then they are not very goods fruits to be had in the first place. I know that what we have now is real the Book of Jeraneck is true and the that God has given that ancient record to us because it is relevant to our day and to our circumstances. I pray that you will look beyond the horizon and come and see and talk to us. Amen

I would like to thank the Prophet for the words that he has put on the blog I'm sure that the Lord will bless who ever reads them to come and enquire about what we are doing. Other news now. We have been given the first of six pictures that the church has had commissioned. They depict events in the Book of Jeraneck and they will be published with the second edition of the Book of Jeraneck and will also be available for people to buy as individual copies to go in their homes. We have also complied several books for people to read that concern our beliefs and also there is now available a collection of all the revelations that the church has had. This is not the Book of Prophesy and Revelation but a separate book that the the church has had made so that they can be given to all those that wish to read them. We have also registered the name The Times and Seasons Publishing as the publishing arm of the church and all books will carry a logo with those word from now on. The long awaited DVD and on-line video of the General Assembly Meeting is in the process of being completed so we are expecting that in the coming week.
The Lord is progressing the work and the Lord is blessing us. We must continue to do as he commands and I know that as we do this that he will bless us. Once again the invitation is open to all those that wish to attend the Sunday Sacrament and Sunday school service. The services start at 10 o'clock am on Sunday and we would love to see you there. All the relevant info can be obtained by calling us or emailing us. Until then God be with you. amen

What a week it has been for the church. A wonderful event happened last Friday when we were visited by the Hill family. The Hills have done everything that the pictures to the right says, they have knoked and the Lord has answerd. They were fantastic asking questions and listening to what we had to say, they are wonderful people and they are trying very hard to find the truth and to understand the gospel, I hope that we have many more conversations and discussions with the Hill’s and we hope that they will embrace the words of the Prophet Matthew Gill and become members of The Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ.

The second edition of the Book of Jeraneck is all ready for the printers we are just awaiting the illustrations that the church has had commissioned to be completed and then it along with the other books ready for printing will be sent to the publishers for the final work to begin. You might have noticed that the blog site has changed? It was given a revamp in the attempt to get more information on the page itself.

Now we come to a part of this weeks blog that we thought needed attention. We were left a comment on the blog last week, we don’t mind comments in fact we welcome them, however this one and other comments that we have had are very cynical. To the person who left the comment last week. Revelation, what is it do you understand the meaning of revelation? It would seem not. You accuse us of regurgitating and using things that have already been said, tell me have you ever read the Doctrine and Covenants? Try this and then come back and make an argument when you know what you are talking about. The Lord gives our Prophet Matthew P Gill words to say and sometimes images, these things a are for the benefit of the people that he gives them to and if the Lord uses a sentence or a words that are in a previous revelation who are we to argue with the Lord…after all they are his words. However if you feel qualified to do this please be our guests and go ahead and make your case with him. May be you are an LDS member who has never really understood the meaning of Revelation, this would not be a surprise as you have never had a Prophet of God in your midst before, so I can understand you getting confused. Our Prophet Matthew P Gill has given many revelations and has Prophesied many things to the church and also to other people, as you have never read them your argument holds no substance.

Let me say once again as the web administrator we welcome all who comment on our site and about what you read, however commenting is one thing being rude, ill mannered and
un-Christ like is not something that we welcome. The Prophet has asked that I remind you all that we are trying to bring people unto Christ and Christ alone. Please remember this.

To all those that have received revelations, the Lord is giving you these for a purpose, that purpose is not for you to do nothing but to go to him in prayer and fasting and finally to come to a conclusion about what you have read, remember we are hear if you need to talk about what you have received, the Lord God wants you to rejoice in what you have been blessed with.

Until next week brothers and sisters we hope you all have a pleasant week and that God enriches your lives with his presence and love.

It has been a long month for the church. We have been busy doing a lot of changes that were announced at the General Assembly meeting last Sunday. We have been given the use of the local Village hall to meet in and that is a great blessing. The recording of the General Assembly will be posted on here as soon as we have gad it back and it has been edited.
We were so pleased to be able to meet as a body of saints and to be able to sit in general assembly and be able to conduct ourselves in conference in the name of the Lord. A lot of things took place and the business of the church was conducted. The name of the church was sustained as The latter Day Church of Jesus Christ, Matthew Gill was sustained and upheld as Prophet, seer, revelator and translator of the church. Our scriptures were sustained and we upheld the use of the Inspired version of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Book of Jeraneck and the Book of Prophesy and Revelation. All in all it was a fantastic meeting and we look forward to our next.

Apart from our General Assembly meeting we have been in constant contact with The Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830. we have been talking to them and trying to find common ground. The prophet says that we are making headway and that there last correspondence was very good. However i have been told by the prophet that we are not to get carried away, it is very early days and the Lord will be the decider of what goes on not us. We wish to apologise if we have said things that have been misunderstood and taken out of context.

The Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ is a Mormon church and as such we uphold the teachings of Joseph Smith and we sustain him as the first prophet in the last dispensation of the fullness of times. We believe that the lord is continuing to give us his children guidance by way of our Prophet Matthew Gill. We have been blessed most recently in having a revelation given to someone very close to the the Prophets family. This revelation will be included in the Book of Prophesy and Revelation for all the church to see and the world. We have also been granted permission to show the revelation here on the blog. The name of the person has been changed to Enoch to protect him from the judgement of people that are not of like mind. It is unfortunate that this has to be done but as we have experienced here before many people out there who call themselves Christians and even Mormons are not very accommodating when it comes to things of this nature and the prophet feels that to heap such persecution upon this person would be unjust. The Prophet has said that until this person comes unto the waters of baptism it is our duty to protect him from the judgement of the wicked. so here is the most recent revelation given to Enoch from the lord.

Hearken unto my words Enoch and bend low unto them for I speak to you now with the power of the Father and all the havens. Behold I say unto you the works, and the designs, and the purposes of God cannot be frustrated, neither can they come to naught. For I the Lord do not walk in crooked paths, neither do I turn to the right hand nor to the left, neither do I vary from that which I have said, therefore my paths are straight, and my course is one eternal round. Remember, that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men. Behold I say unto you that I speak unto you thru my servant Matthew Philip Gill and it is to him that I have given power and authority to speak in my name, for I the Lord even the very Jesus who bled for you in the garden of Gethsemane have anointed him to be my Prophet. Verily I say unto you that I have seen you and I know your doings, I have watched you and I have seen you and I the Lord now speak unto you for I have a work for you to do upon this earth and I have a work for you to do within my church for behold my church is The Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ and I have given my servant and friend Matthew Philip Gill charge over it to see that it is kept in order and that my kingdom roles forth.
Now I speak unto you as if you are present but yet you are not and I speak unto you in plainness so that you might under stand the work that I have in store for you and I say unto you that my Servant Matthew Philip Gill has got the plates of which he has testified and borne record of and I say unto you that he has received them of me. Now behold I speak unto you, for I am, the Lord God, and have given these things unto my servant Matthew Philip Gill and I command you that you should stand as a witness of these things. And I command you that you should enter into a covenant with me, that you should bear witness and testify of the existence of the plates and of their sacredness. Behold I command you and say unto you to testify of them to those persons to whom I shall commanded you, for I am the Lord and I say unto you that you are to be a servant unto me in my kingdom. Verily, verily I say unto you, that woe shall come upon you if you will not hearken unto my words. For hereafter you shall be ordained and go forth and deliver my words unto the children of men. Behold you shall pass though the sacred ordinance of the temple and shall bear witness that I am and that my kingdom is hear in fullness. Now I say unto you behold, believe upon my words, believe upon my servant Matthew Philip Gill, for verily I say unto you, I have reserved these things for you and it is pleasing unto me that more shall be given unto you, my servant, Enoch for a wise purpose in me, and it shall be made known unto future generations.
Now behold and hearken unto my words for all these things must come to pass. But Behold they can only come to pass if thou believe upon my words and do all the things that I have commanded of you. For the gate by which you should enter is repentance and baptism by water in to my church and when you shall have immersed yourself in to the water, you shall come forth again out of the water and then will cometh a remission of your sins by fire, and by the Holy Ghost. For I say unto you, my beloved brother, after you have gotten into the strait and narrow path, I would ask, if all your work is done? Behold, I say unto you, No. Wherefore, you must press forward with steadfastness and a belief in me, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of my servant and of me, and endure to the end, behold, I say unto you in the name of the Father: You shall have eternal life and you shall stand with me at my second coming.
Now behold and hearken unto me for I say unto you Enoch a great and marvellous work is about to come forth unto the children of men. Behold, I am God, give heed unto my word, which is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword therefore Enoch give heed unto my words. For I say unto you that you are to be a great instrument in my hands and also unto my church and it is my command that you serve me and also that you serve as a councillor unto my Prophet Matthew Philip Gill and give aid unto him and help build up my kingdom upon the earth. Behold it is for this reason that I have come unto my servant Matthew Philip Gill and spake unto him and I commanded him that he speak unto you and tell you of these things for your faith is that of a small child and if I were to appear unto you in the flesh you would wither and die, and it is because of this that I have spoken unto my Prophet that he should go and speak my words unto you.
Wherefore I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Matthew Philip Gill, and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments, and also gave commandments to others, that they should proclaim the words of my mouth unto the world, and all this that my kingdom might be fulfilled, which was written by the prophets of old. Now hearken unto me Enoch for I say unto you that the world in these last days is not of me but it is of the devil and he has caused that the weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow-man. Now I say unto you that you should not place your trust in the arm of flesh or in any other church that professes to do things in my name but I command you to speak in my name, the Lord, even the Saviour of the world, that your faith also might increase. Behold you are like unto my servant Paul whom I caused to have a mighty change of heart, for he to went to an fro upon the earth without faith in my name and it was unto him that I placed my spirit and caused him to worship me and bend low unto me and he to went forth preaching unto the inhabitants of the earth. Verily I say unto you that the time has come when mine everlasting covenant might be established, that the fullness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple, unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
For I, the Lord, am merciful and gracious unto those who fear me, and delight to honour those who serve me in righteousness and in truth unto the end. Great shall be your reward, and eternal shall be your glory; and to you will I reveal all my mysteries, yea, all the hidden mysteries of my kingdom, will I make known unto you the good pleasure of my will concerning all things pertaining to my kingdom, yes, even the wonders of eternity shall you know, and things to come will I show you when you are in the presence of my Prophet for it is unto him that I have placed the keys of the kingdom at this time and when you are in his service I will revel many things unto you, even the things of many generations, and because of this your wisdom shall be great, and your understanding shall be great even unto the reaching to heaven.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, watch and pray always, lest you be tempted by the devil, and you are led away captive by him. And as I have prayed among my Prophet in person so shall I pray among you, even so shall you pray in my church, among my people and teach them and lead them and bring them to repent and many shall you bring to be baptized, for I say unto you that even your father and your mother shall behold the light that shall shine forth from you and they shall kneel down at your feet and they shall bring themselves unto my Prophet and be baptised in my name in my church and all this shall be given you because you shall have done as I commanded and done it in my name. Behold I am the light of the world I have set an example for you to follow and I have raised up among you a Prophet who acts in my name. Behold he stands at the head of my church and it was so that you should know him for a great work I have in store for you. Behold thus saith the Lord your God, if you but receive wisdom here is wisdom. Behold, this is wisdom, that you may obtain an everlasting inheritance within my kingdom. Now I make an end of speaking these words unto my Prophet for your benefit and I make an end with these words, and say unto you, come unto me and serve me with all your heart might mind and strength and feast at the table that I have laid for you and take hold of the great things that shall give you nourishment and a place shall be given you at my side when I come again in the name of the father. Amen.

Now this is for the benefit of all who read but more so for the person it was given to. However this was not the last revelation that we were given from the Prophet. During the General Assembly meeting we were given yet another wonderful promise from the Lord that in the coming moths we would be given yet more ancient scripture from the "Dust of this Land" when we heard these words we were all over joyed, we can only imagine what wonders are yet to be given to us but as the Prophet said during are General Assembly “We have had a taste of some of the fruit from this land and so anything else we will receive will be just as sweet if not sweeter”.

We conclude this weeks post and say to you all, come and worship with us and hear a modern day Prophet speak. God bless. and may you have a great week.

Another week another blog post. Hello and welcome. We hope that the past week has been kind and that the Lord has blessed your week in abundance.

This week’s blog is extremely exciting for The Latter Day Church of Christ. We have some wonderful things to share with people and also a response to further persecution and accusation that is flying around many parts of the LDS Church.

Firstly the news. We have now received our Advertising pack form the publishers and we must say that they are fantastic. A picture of our main poster can be seen on this post. We will be doing some proselyting in the Coopers Square in Burton Town Centre within the coming weeks and we hope to be able to impart to people a little knowledge and spirit. The Latter Day Church of Christ is also in possession of the Translated version of the Bible by Joseph Smith. The Prophet Joseph Smith began this revision in 1830 and completed the initial revision by July 2, 1833. In one of the new Revelations by the Lord our Prophet Matthew Gill was told to use this Bible, so now we have it and we plan top use it. The work has begun transposing and also layout and the full work should be completed by the end of June. Also the Book of Prophesy and Revelation is ready for the printers and has just been passed by the “Office of Prophet of the church” We have also had a revision of the Book of Jeraneck passed so we have lots of works going to the publishers in the next couple of weeks to months. The Fist General Assembly Meeting of The Latter Day Church of Christ will take place on the 27th of May and we welcome all people to attend and to feel the spirit of the Lord and to also hear a Modern Prophet of the Lord. All said the work of the kingdom is progressing very well. Now I will hand over the remaining Blog Post to our prophet Matthew Gill:-
It would seem that people are either not paying any attention to our blog our to the information that we are giving out or they are deliberately being offensive just to cause offence. May I just stress once again to all the LDS Mormons that we do believe in many of the same things but on others we have to Part Company. It would seem that you give no credence to your own Articles of faith, which I have quoted many times on this blog site. The Latter Day Church of Christ do not believe that your church is led by a Prophet of God and that you have no base for such a claim, however I would never stop speaking or associating with LDS Mormons because of that. However it seems that many LDS members feel that they have a right to go around slandering our church and also myself and those associated with the church. How sad it is when people who profess to believe in a God of love do not show that countenance in their own lives. I know that God lives. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ as contained in the Translated Bible, the 1835 Doctrine and Covenants, the Book of Mormon the Book of Jeraneck and the Book of Prophesy and Revelation is true and that I was chosen to be a mouth piece for the Lord in these last days of trouble a and strife. I will never deny that and I don’t see why we should be asked to.
Many of the LDS Mormons that I know have very little knowledge of our church and for that matter of their ownlet alone the basics of the Gospel. It would seem to me that it would be a very good idea to first obtain that knowledge before accusing us of things that are unfounded. I would urge all the LDS Mormons that I know to learn more of the history of the church and to look a little deeper,at their own the cracks are there I don’t believe that you are looking hard enough, some of you don’t want to look at the history of your church because you are of the opinion that you don’t need to. A great historian once said “Those who don’t learn from history are bound to repeat it” I think this statement could be directed at the LDS church.
To You I say this the harder you persecute us the harder our resolve will become. We have a duty and a job to do that is divine. As Joseph smith said “No unhallowed Hand will stop the work progressing” We will do what the Lord has commanded. To the people I know personally, and you know who you are I say this. You know me; you know what I have said to you personally, you will find nothing in what I have said about the Gospel or about the History of the church that is untrue. Put the Book of Jeraneck to the test, put the words of Jeraneck to the test and read and pray about it. You will find nothing in what the Latter Day Church of Christ teach that is wrong. Once again I call upon you to speak to us directly and to come to me and ask me directly or any of the presiding presidency we are here to answer any questions you may have. Amen.

I would like to thank the prophet for the time he has taken in past weeks to answer the persecutors personally. Now for our message for the week we hope that you find this week’s message insightful and educational.

Joseph Smith Fought Polygamy

"I had not been married scarcely five minutes, and made one proclamation of the Gospel, before it was reported that I had seven wives.... I am innocent of all these charges.... What a thing it is for a man to be accused of committing adultery, and having seven wives, when I can only find one. I am the same man, and as innocent as I was fourteen years ago; and I can prove them all perjurers."
—Joseph Smith, Jr.,

Another indictment has been got up against me [the polygamy indictment]. It appears a holy prophet (William Law) has arisen up, and he has testified against me (causing the polygamy indictment to be brought forth).... God knows, then, that the charges against me are false.
I had not been married scarcely five minutes, and made one proclamation of the Gospel, before it was reported that I had seven wives. I mean to live and proclaim the truth as long as I can.
This new holy prophet (William Law) has gone to Carthage and swore that I had told him that I was guilty of adultery. This spiritual wifeism! Why, a man dares not speak or wink, for fear of being accused of this.... William Law ... swears that I have committed adultery. I wish the grand jury would tell me who they (the alleged wives) are—whether it will be a curse or blessing to me....
A man asked me whether the commandment (revelation) was given that a man may have seven wives; and now the new prophet has charged me with adultery.... Wilson Law (William's brother) also swears that I told him I was guilty of adultery.... I have rattled chains before in a dungeon for truth's sake. I am innocent of all these charges, and you can bear witness of my innocence, for you know me yourselves.... What a thing it is for a man to be accused of committing adultery, and having seven wives, when I can only find one.
I am the same man, and as innocent as I was fourteen years ago (when charged with polygamy shortly after his marriage to Emma Hale); and I can prove them all perjurers.

This sermon is extremely important because in it Joseph Smith declared, just one month and one day before his martyrdom, that he had only one wife. In other words, he declared that he was not a polygamist. It is significant that this sermon is published by the LDS Church itself, in its most important history. The sermon alone proves that Joseph was not a polygamist.
There are a number of points in the sermon which deserve close analysis:
I had not been married scarcely five minutes ... before it was reported that I had seven wives. Joseph was plagued with polygamy rumors all his public life and always denied being a polygamist. Either he told the truth and was a true prophet; or he was a polygamist who was a liar and base deceiver, and was therefore a fraud and a false prophet. There is no half-way situation in this matter. As previously stated, he never hesitated to tell the truth about any other doctrine, in spite of persecution—which is evidence that he was also telling the truth in this case.
This spiritual wifeism! Why, a man dares not speak or wink, for fear of being accused of this. This is a reference to Dr. Bennett's teachings two years earlier that Joseph taught that “promiscuous intercourse between the sexes, was a doctrine believed in by the Latter-Day Saints ... that myself and others of the authorities of the church not only sanctioned, but practiced the same wicked acts” (Times and Seasons 3 July 1, 1842). Joseph is declaring that spiritual wifery rumors are still prevalent in Nauvoo, and that they are all false.

A man asked me whether the commandment was given that a man may have seven wives. If Joseph had been guilty of polygamy, and was trying to keep it secret as the Utah LDS Church claim, he certainly would not have made this statement. The truth is that he wanted to get the whole matter out in the open and to put a stop to the polygamous activities which some of the apostles and their friends were practicing at the time.
What a thing it is for a man to be accused of ... having seven wives, when I can only find one. Here is a definite declaration by the Prophet that he had only one wife—Emma. This statement alone answers the question of whether or not he was guilty of polygamy. Those who later claimed that he had more wives were polygamists themselves, who used his name to cover their own crimes of polygamy. Or, like William Law, claimed Joseph was a polygamist in order to depose him.

Joseph's statement that “I can prove them all perjurers” was very significant, for it meant that he had foreseen the coming problem of being accused of polygamy and had taken the measures to be able to prove that he was innocent. He declared in the same sermon:
For the last three years I have a record of all my acts and proceedings, for I have kept several good, faithful, and efficient clerks in constant employ; they have accompanied me everywhere, and carefully kept my history, and they have written down what I have done, where I have been, and what I have said; therefore my enemies cannot charge me with any day, time, or place, but what I have written testimony to prove my actions; and my enemies cannot prove anything against me. (LDS History of the Church 6:409)
Unfortunately, Joseph's carefully laid plans to prove his innocence were thwarted by Brigham Young and his followers—for they took Joseph's papers with them to Utah and kept them from the public.
Joseph Smith III (son of the Martyr) explained:
At the death of my father, Joseph W. Coolidge was appointed administrator of the estate.... The private and personal correspondence of my father, many books and some other matters of personal character were in his office in care of (Apostle) Willard Richards, and others, clerks and officials. These were either retained by the administrator upon his own responsibility; or were refused to my mother's demand at the direction of the Twelve; the latter we were at the time led to believe.... In answer to repeated demands for my father's private papers, journal and correspondence, made by my mother, there was an invariable denial. (Edward W. Tullidge, Life of Joseph the Prophet, 744–745)
In another account Joseph III stated concerning the LDS leaders' refusal to return his father's private papers to Emma: His private records, biography, portions of history—family and general—manuscripts, memoranda, and parts of his library were all included in this refusal to comply with Mother's request. (Saints' Herald 82 January 29, 1935)
Most of the “good, faithful, and efficient clerks” were not good and faithful to Joseph. Some were polygamists themselves, and they rewrote Joseph's history under Brigham's direction to make it appear that Joseph was the author of polygamy. The LDS Mormon Church has published, “Moreover, since the death of the Prophet Joseph, the history has been carefully revised under the strict inspection of President Brigham Young, and approved by him” (LDS History of the Church 1:v–vi).
Elder Charles Wandell, upon reading Joseph's history as published by the LDS Church, declared that Joseph's history had been changed.
He asserted: I noticed these interpolations because having been employed (myself) in the Historian's office at Nauvoo by Doctor Richards, and employed, too, in 1845, in compiling this very autobiography, I know that after Joseph's death his memoir was "doctored" to suit the new order of things, and this, too, by the direct order of Brigham Young to Doctor Richards and systematically by Richards. (RLDS History of the Church 4:97)
After Joseph's death, Brigham Young expanded his polygamous base by bringing more and more Saints into the polygamy fold. After he had led his followers to Utah and Joseph had been dead for eight years, Brigham publicly presented to the Saints a mysterious document (Section 132 of the LDS Doctrine and Covenants). He claimed that it was only a copy of an original revelation which Joseph had received. Brigham claimed that he had kept the copy secretly hidden in his desk.

He declared: This revelation has been in my possession many years; and who has known it? None but those who should know it. I keep a patent lock on my desk, and there does not anything leak out that should not. (Supplement to Millennial Star 15 1853: RLDS History of the Church 3:349)
The mystery which was “had in secret chambers” for years was now made public. That mystery was polygamy! Joseph Smith fought against polygamy all of his public life, but Brigham Young managed to bring it into the Church in spite of Joseph's efforts to keep it out
For those out there who need more convincing about the nature of Brigham Young see the following account of when the two sons of Joseph Smith met Brigham Young. Notice how the supposed prophet acts and notice how the sons of the Prophet Jospeh Smith Act:-

Alexander Smith's Account of Brigham's Accusations against Oliver

When Alexander and David went to Salt Lake City in 1869, Alexander was thirty years of age and David was twenty-four. They used as their base the Inspired Version of the Holy Scriptures, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Times and Seasons as left by their martyred father.

Brigham faced a monumental task now that Alexander and David had come to preach against polygamy. Alexander wrote of his and David's historic visit with President Young:
On the 17th we called on President Brigham Young, to see if we could get the tabernacle to preach in, and now really begins our experiences in this strange mission.
We went into the Deseret News office, and made inquiry if we could see Pres. Brigham Young, as we were instructed that that was the best way to get an audience with him. We were invited to sit down till our request could be taken to him, and get an answer. It seemed to me we were detained here about two hours and a half.... Finally I stood ... and arose to go....
As we rose to take our leave, a messenger came to inform us President Young would see us. Would we walk into his office? We passed through two or three anterooms or connecting rooms between the Deseret News Office and President Young's private office, and were ushered into the presence of Brigham Young and about nineteen or twenty others; and the puzzle of our long wait was solved. Messengers had been sent out in the city to call in the principal men of the church to be present at the interview, and it took time to get them all in. There were Pres. Brigham Young, John Taylor, Daniel Wells, George A. Smith, Brigham Young, Jr., George Q. Cannon, J. F. (Joseph Fielding) Smith, John Henry Smith, John Smith, Samuel Smith, Joseph Young, Phineas Young, and a number of others whose names escape my memory now. From the imposing array of names, you can judge the interview was considered by President Young to be an important one. To say I was surprised does not fully express my feeling at this imposing array of the heads of the church there. I had simply called upon Mr. Young to request the use of the tabernacle, not expecting to meet so strong an array of talent.
Alexander Hale Smith and David Hyrum Smith, who challenged Brigham's claim about Oliver Cowdery and the article on "Marriage." We were formally introduced to all in the room, and after this ceremony, I simply announced the object of my call, telling President Young I understood that others were granted the use of the tabernacle when not in service by themselves, and as my brother David and I were there to represent the Reorganized Church we would like to be accorded the privilege to address the people from the pulpit of the tabernacle. Here let me explain a little. Three years before I had spoken in Line and Fox's Garden, a place of public resort in the city, and in my service I was opposed by my cousin, Joseph F. Smith, and in my answer to him I made use of some statements which displeased President Brigham Young; and ere my request for the use of the tabernacle was noticed I was called upon by him to take back or retract my statements. I told him I could not do so because they were strictly true, and I stood ready to prove them. He asked me where I got my information, and I remarked I had lived through the experiences of many of the events referred to, and did not need to have anyone inform me. He then asked me if my mother did not give me information. By this time so much had been said we were both getting warm and earnest in our converse. I answered, Yes sir, and I had more confidence in her statement than I did in his. This made him quite angry, and he began to abuse my mother, calling her "the damnedest liar that ever lived;" accused her of trying to poison my father twice, and also accused her of stealing my father's and Uncle Hyrum's picture, and his family ring, and withholding them from the church and the family, and other things of like nature.
I finally told him to stop; that what he had said was false and he knew it to be false. Of course this angered him still more. Some one said, "We love you boys for your father's sake." I said that made no impression upon me, I expected to live long enough to make for myself a name, and have the people of God love me for my own sake. At this President Young arose to his feet, clenched his fists, and shook them down by his side, raised upon his toes and came down on his heels repeatedly as he said, "A name, a name, a name. You have not got God enough about you to make a name. You are nothing at all like your father. He was open and frank and outspoken, but you; there is something covered up, something hidden, calculated to deceive."
I told him time would tell. He then told me that article on marriage in the Book of Covenants had been written by Oliver Cowdery and published in the book directly in opposition to father's wishes. I remarked, "President Young, unfortunately for your statement, that article with every other one in the book, used by the church previous to father's death, was laid before a general assembly of the church in solemn assembly, and endorsed by the whole church." I then challenged him or any other authorized representative of the church there in Utah to meet us in discussion of the differences in faith and organization existing between us. I told him, "You say you have the truth, and that we are in error. If you have the truth, what need you fear? You are men in full vigor of mind and reason, we are but boys. If it is as you say you can easily overcome us, if we are in the wrong; but if it proves that we are right the sooner you get right the better. Unfortunately for us, a Mormon legislature has made laws prohibiting preaching upon the streets of the cities in Utah, so we are denied the means used by your missionaries in Europe to convert thousands; but you have not made it a misdemeanor to preach upon the mountain side, and we propose to get the ears of this people, if we must needs preach on the mountain side."
President Young would no longer talk to me; so I said, "Come, David, let us go; it is useless to prolong this controversy." We arose to our feet, and David said, "Mr. Young, are we to understand that we are denied the use of the tabernacle?"
President Young then turned to his brethren, and said, "What do you say, brethren?" Several of them expressed themselves disapproving the letting us have it. The exact words of none come to me except those of George Q. Cannon. He arose and said, "So far as I am concerned, I can soon express myself. After we whose hairs have grown gray in the service of God and after we have borne the heat and burden of the day in persecution and suffering, on land and sea, and have labored long and hard in heat and cold to build up the work and name for their father; for these boys to come now and ask us for the use of our houses to tear down what we have been so many years in building up, to me it is the height of impudence, and I will not give my consent to it." He was very much in earnest, his face was as white as death.
David then quietly arose to his full height and his face was also white but his words were calm, but oh, so full of sarcasm: "We will not deny that you have traveled far, suffered much, and labored hard to build up a name for our father, but what sort of a name is it? A name that we his sons are ashamed to meet in good society, and it shall be our life's work to remove from our father's name the stain you have heaped upon it."
None were so severe as George Q. Cannon. After an expression had been called for and given, President Young then turned to David and said, "No, David, we do not think it wise to let you have the tabernacle." As we arose and turned to go out, Mr. Young said, "Boys, don't let this be your last visit; come again. I would gladly take you to my bosom if I did not think I would be taking a viper to my bosom that would sting me to death."
I told him he need not be alarmed, it was not likely after the reception we had just passed through, that we would visit either at his home or office. We went out, and the fight was on. (Autumn Leaves 14 Lamoni, Iowa, August 1901: 349–351)

Hello and welcome once again to the Latter Day Church of Christ blog site. We hope that you have all had a wonderful week and that God has blessed you with all that you have prayed for.

We have been very busy over the last week or two with emails from what seems to be an endless source. We have been answering questions about a lot of different topics form things as simple as our basic beliefs to things such as, were we stand on the King Follett discourse given by Joseph Smith. I must admit that the Prophet has been flat out over the last week or two what with all these things as well as the continued revelation concerning Zion’s camp and the building of the Temple that we have been getting from the Lord.

As the web administrator I have been asked to answer one of the continuing questions being asked of us by many people, in particular LDS members. With regards to weather or not we support the King Follett Discourse. This is a topic that has drawn a lot of comment. A topic that has caused and could cause much contention. Because many believe that if we hold with the King Follett discourse then a lot of what we preach could be wrong….it is not wrong, with regards to Joseph Smith we only teach what can be proven came from him. Before we go on to answer the question directly I think that an expiation of the King Follett discourse in needed. And for this I give the time over to our Prophet Matthew Philip Gill

The King Follet Discourse was a funeral address delivered by Jospeh Smith on behalf of Elder King Follett, an early convert to Mormonism, who, on March 9, 1844 was crushed to death when a bucket of rocks fell on him as he was walling up a well. On a windy day in April, 1844 at Nauvoo, Illinois less than three months before Joseph Smith's assassination, the discourse was presented to a congregation of the church. Many reports have suggested that the discourse was addressed to more than 20,000 people this number is questionable since the census records of Nauvoo in 1845 show a total population of only 11,057. It is more likely that the number present was as few as around 8,000.

Although there is no verbatim account of the speech and it has been proved that such an account does not exist four scribes were present to record Smith's remarks they were Willard Richards, Wilford Woodruff, Thomas Bullock and William Clayton. All of whom were close friends and associates of Brigham Young and all of whom supported his claim to be leader of the church after the death of the Prophet. The first time that the sermon was seen in public was in the Times and Seasons in August 15 1844 a good two months after the death of the Prophet Joseph which took place in June 27, 1844. A later version was also constructed from amalgamations of the Richards, Woodruff, Bullock and Clayton texts. This amalgamation was done by Church employee Jonathan Grimshaw roughly ten years after Smith's death and is generally regarded as the "official" version. However this is were some controversy comes in to play because it contains some text not found in any of the primary sources. It should also be noted that the current versions contains only roughly 30% of the actual address. It would seem then that on balance, the Times and Seasons version would be the closest to the original speech.

The Latter Day Church of Christ are in no doubt that Joseph made an address at the funeral service of King Follett and we are under no illusion that there were probably many people who were writing it down as the Prophet spoke, However we are of the opinion and may we just stress that this is our opinion, that Joseph smith never intended this to be recorded and the reasons that he never intended this to be recorded are simple. There was nothing in the King Follett discourse that he thought was earth shattering. And I will explain the reasoning behind this statement.

Every time Joseph received new revelation it was written down and published almost instantly Joseph never gave such an order in this case. It must also be noted that the four mentioned scribes at the funeral were all friends and allies of Brigham Young and it seems very strange that there is not one note that Joseph ever intended this to be published yet just two months after the Prophet was martyred it appears in the Times and Seasons. That is the first problem. The second is this. If the Times and Seasons was so accurate why did Brigham young ask for it to be re-written with what seems to be staggering differences and with only 30% of the core material remaining, I wonder!

The other thing that may be worrying to many LDS members is that your own so called Prophets have also not viewed the original discourse with favorable light. For example it was not published in the annals of Joseph Smith's life ca 1902 ("History of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints") because of then Church President Joseph F. Smith’s discomfort with some ideas in the sermon which he felt suffered from inaccuracies. This would seem right to me if the LDS church was doing things that Joseph smith never for one minute would have allowed.

So were do The Latter Day Church of Christ stand on the discourse. We say this, that it was given by Joseph Smith the then Prophet at the funeral of King Follett but we say this, that we do not believe for one minute that Joseph Smith was best served by all the members in the congregation taking notes that day and that things were afoot that Joseph would not have taken very kindly and we also believe that Joseph never intended to have this published as it was given at a funeral of one of the elders of the church and not at a general assembly. Joseph never stated that it was revelation or anything of the kind. I also wish to state that also though the LDS church claim to be doing Joseph smith a great service they are not and I will not give my opinion of this but will leave that up to his sons who said to George Q Cannon in a meeting with Brigham young ,John Taylor, Daniel Wells, George A. Smith, Brigham Young, Jr., George Q. Cannon, J. F. [Joseph Fielding] Smith, John Henry Smith, John Smith, Samuel Smith, Joseph Young, Phineas Young, and a number of others.

The boys say this “President Young would no longer talk to me; so I said, "Come, David, let us go; it is useless to prolong this controversy." We arose to our feet, and David said, “Mr. Young, are we to understand that we are denied the use of the tabernacle?” President Young then turned to his brethren, and said, “What do you say, brethren?” Several of them expressed themselves disapproving the letting us have it. The exact words of none come to me except those of George Q. Cannon. He arose and said, “So far as I am concerned, I can soon express myself. After we whose hairs have grown gray in the service of God and after we have borne the heat and burden of the day in persecution and suffering, on land and sea, and have labored long and hard in heat and cold to build up the work and name for their father; for these boys to come now and ask us for the use of our houses to tear down what we have been so many years in building up, to me it is the height of impudence, and I will not give my consent to it.” He was very much in earnest; his face was as white as death.
David then quietly arose to his full height and his face was also white but his words were calm, but oh, so full of sarcasm: “We will not deny that you have traveled far, suffered much, and labored hard to build up a name for our father, but what sort of a name is it? A name that we his sons are ashamed to meet in good society, and it shall be our life's work to remove from our father's name the stain you have heaped upon it."

I will leave those words as they stand. And say Amen to them.

Welcome we hope that you all had a very special passover holiday and that the spirit if the Lord was with you in spirit for a very special time of year. The Latter day Church of Christ held its first Passover meal last Sunday and it went extremely well. The Prophet led the prayers that were said and the spirit was present in abundance, it is good to have Passover (Easter) dedicated to the Lord rather than to chocolate and bunny rabbits. So we hope all of you had a good holiday and that it touched you in some small way.

The Lord has been fulfilling the promises made in the bible most recently, particularly those found in 1 Corinthians 5: 7-8 which says:-

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The Acts 2: 17-19 which says:-
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Our Third Elder David Smith has been a direct recipient of these promises, he has had three vision recently concerning the journey to the north countries to find the people spoken of in the Book of Jeraneck. He has also had a vision concerning life in Zion's camp. And to complete his trilogy of revelations he has been shown the temple witch the Prophet saw in Zion's camp, so now we have 2 witnesses to the temple that is to be built in the Zion's camp. These revelations are to be found in The Book of Prophesy and Revelation along with all the Prophesy and Revelations given to the church. We thank the Lord that Elder Smith has been given these wonderful things and we thank the Lord for showing the temple to another witness.

Our Prophet has also had a new Revelation that will be given on Sunday the 15th during our Sacrament service. The Prophet has kept this very close to his chest so that no body get to know what it contains until he gives it on Sunday. However the Lord has opened the widows of heaven and the words are tumbling down at great speed The times spoken of by brother Joseph are being fulfilled and the work is gathering.

The Prophet has been talking to a representative from The Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830. They are a restoration Mormon church who are led by a a First Quorum of Seventy they are waiting for God to call a Prophet to lead them. To this end the Prophet has been talking to them, about the building of Zion and also the unification of the two churches. We will keep you posted on this. I will now hand over the remaining time to our Prophet who would like to write the rest of the blog personally.

It seems that the words of Joseph that say:-

The Savior said, . . . "Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake; rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the Prophets which were before you." Now, dear brethren, if any men ever had reason to claim this promise, we are the men; for we know that the world not only hate us, but they speak all manner of evil of us falsely, for no other reason than that we have been endeavoring to teach the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Amd if i may take a little licence with the Following:-

Hell may pour forth its rage like the burning lava of Mount Vesuvius . . . and yet shall "The Latter Day Church of Christ" stand. . . . God is the author of it. He is our shield. . . . It was by Him we received the Book of Mormon and the Book of Jeraneck; and it is by Him that we remain unto this day; and by Him we shall remain, if it shall be for our glory; and in His Almighty name we are determined to endure tribulation as good soldiers unto the end.

These are coming in to being in our efforts to speak the truth. The wolves are gathering and the hounds of hell are baying for our blood. It would seem that truth is a hard thing for most people to deal with, it would also seem that many people who have the audacity to call themselves Mormons are hell bent on our destruction, surly these are not the actions of ones who are supposed to be led by God and are supposedly doing his will. Our Aim is to live in peace with all people and our aim is to live up to our Articles of Faith and allow all men the privilege of worshipping god how were or what they will. This however is not good enough for a lot of the members of the LDS church. It seems to me that the same things that the people of Joseph Smiths time accused him of and the things that he went through have fallen on both blank minds and on deaf ears for the majority of the members of the LDS church. Joseph was accused of destroying the very fabric of religion and was accused of speaking with devils and making things up just to elevate himself in to a position that he would never have normally had as a farm boy. These things are being laid at my door and I am sick of it. I say this to any one that wants to challenge the truth either put up or shut up. I encourage you to do what it says in the Book of Mormon and that is to first read then pray about it. The Book of Jeraneck is a book of Scripture that testify of the Christ, I ask all those who revile against us to read it before condemning it as a work of the Devil. To all those who say that there are spelling and grammatical errors, do you not know your own history? WW Phelps accused Joseph of the same things and this is what Joseph said to him and i say it to you. “You have give us to believe that there are glaring errors in the revelation. If we have made mistakes in punctuation or spelling we say by way of excuse, we do not think so much of the orthography as we do the subject matter. The word of god means what it says” let me say this to all, that those words that Joseph spoke to WW Phelps are as true today as they were when he wrote them.
Stop baying for our destruction for you will find yourself as a ship that has been caught in a storm and found itself smashed against the rocks. We are led by the Almighty and that is good enough for us. The Lord loves you all and so do we. Come and talk to us so that we may dispel these hateful felling that you have towards us. We wish to be friends to all and enemy to none. However I say this in warning. Just as Joseph was moved to do what he did against his enemy's we will do the same.
I would like to welcome all to come and visit with us I am the Prophet of the Church I will always be willing to talk and welcome anyone that wishes to find out more. God Bless

We are still being asked by many people what it is that we The Latter day Church of Christ stand for what it is that we believe in that is any different from the other Mormon churches out there. May we first say to all those that have asked this question that the answers are to be found on our other bog pages, however we know that it can be a little difficult to look through page after page of posts. So with that in mind we have decided to dedicate this weeks bog to our beliefs and to let all those who are reading this for the first time have a first taste of what it is that we believe.

Firstly we here are our Articles of faith which outline our basic beliefs:-

  1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

  2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s c transgression.

  3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

  4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  5. We believe that those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof must be called by a man of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands

  6. We believe in the same organization that existed at the time of Joseph Smith. Namely, Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, and so forth.

  7. We believe in the gift of Tongues, Prophecy, Revelation, Visions, Healing, Interpretation of Tongues, and so forth.

  8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. We also believe the Book of Jeraneck to be the word of God. We also believe that God will reveal many more books of scripture unto his children.

  9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet revel many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

  10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisical glory.

  11. We claim the privilege of worshipping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

  12. We believe in obeying, honouring, and sustaining the law when the law is given in righteousness

  13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
Above are the Articles of faith of The Latter Day Church of Christ. They are simple and they are there so that all who come to us with the question are you christens they will be able to see that yes we are and yes we believe in the Christ and in the Bible. For all those that ask the question are we Mormons the answer is yes of course. We follow the gospel laid down by God through the first prophet of the last dispensation Joseph Smith.
The things that make us different to the other Mormon religions out there are the things like the Book of Jeraneck and the fact that our Prophet still receives revelation from God. Many other Mormon faiths claim to have a Prophet but they do not receive revelation. Many other Mormon sects claim to be led by no Prophet. The Latter Day church of Christ is led by a prophet who speaks to god on a daily basis and receives instruction from him. We do not believe that Brigham Young was the next prophet, we believe that no body was called to fulfil that role as they should have been as commanded in Doctrine and Covenants.
Our main mandate from the Lord is to rebuild his church which was shattered when the prophet Joseph Smith was martyred. We have been given strict council that we are to bring together all the restoration churches that will listen so that we can build Zion in Jackson county Missouri in the united states and also Zion's camp in Britain. Our Prophet has asked that this blog be dedicated to what we believe so we have done this for the benefit of all those that want to know. We however are always here to answer any questions that you may have. It has come to our attention that there are many LDS members who read this blog. We would council you to come and talk with us.
My friends we hope that you have a great week and that we have gone some way to answer the questions that you may have had. God Bless

Hello and welcome once again to The Latter Day Church of Christ Blog site. Sorry for the lateness of the post but we have been experiencing some technical difficulties here with the broadband service, however don’t worry its all up and running again. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that have looked at the blog site and all those that have made enquires as to who we are and what we are doing. May the lord bless and keep you. We would like to still invite you to come to the church and to find out more first hand and listen to the Prophet Matthew Gill.

There are a lot of things happening that we would like to announce to every one at this time. We are going to be getting out there soon in the town of Burton to speak with people about the work and about the Book of Jeraneck. We will more than likely be in the Coopers square. When we have a date we will post it on the blog so that you can come and see us and speak with us. We are always available to speak to and answer questions please feel free to call our number and we will be there to answer your questions.

On to a more spiritual nature. The Prophet has been asked by some one if they can see the latest revelation that has been given to the church. After speaking with the Prophet and him going to the Lord he has decide to let us post the latest two on the blog. Please be aware that they are of a sacred nature. The Prophet has also given me a little note that he would like adding before revelations.

“My brothers and sisters I have been asked by the blog administrator if the church can post the revelations given to us by the Lord. After praying and speaking with the Saviour on this matter I have been given permission to share them with the world. I would like to bear my testimony of the words that are written that they are from god that they give is instruction and advise on the things we need to do to prepare for his coming. I love the lord and I am humbly grateful that he has seen fit to revel his word once again to his children. I hope and pray that when you read these words that spirit will open your heart and you will see the importance of the work that we are doing”

A revelation from god concerning our spiritual preparedness

Behold and hearken, o people of my church for I am the lord of hosts even the very saviour. I am the same from beginning to end I am the only begotten of the father. Verily I say unto you my prophet that the church is not under condemnation, but continue in the ways that you have trod for they are righteous in my eyes. Behold I say unto you that you have done all the things that I have commanded and they are great in my sight And your whole spirit is great and my church has prepared all the things that I have asked in spirit. Let not your mind be turned from me but I say unto the whole church let your minds be turned towards me for I am the lord of heaven.
Verily I say unto you my church that the earth is rolling on and the time soon cometh when men’s hearts shall fail them and they will look upon themselves for the answers that they seek. And he that fears me shall be looking forth for the great day of the lord to come even for the signs of the coming of the Son of Man.
And they shall see signs and wonders for they shall be shown forth in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath. And they shall behold blood, and fire, and vapours of smoke and the great sickness that has been foretold you will become great upon the land. And now I say unto you as I said unto my servants of the past that before the day of the Lord shall come, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon be turned into blood, and the stars fall from heaven. Behold I say unto you that you should be gathered unto one place, and when you have gathered you should look for me, and, behold, I will come; and you shall see me in the clouds of heaven, clothed with power and great glory; with all the holy angels. Verily I say unto you that he that watches not for me shall be cut off from my sight and he shall be like unto the wonderer and he shall not find rest.
Behold I say unto my church that before the arm of the Lord shall fall, an angel shall sound his trump, and the saints that have slept shall come forth to meet me in the heavens. Even so shall they come unto me and their souls shall live, and I say unto you that their redemption shall be perfected; and the saints shall come forth from the four quarters of the earth, and it is then that the arm of the Lord falls upon the nations. And it shall be that at this time I the Lord shall set my foot upon the Mount of Olives, and it shall cleave in twain, and the earth shall tremble, and reel to and fro, and the heavens also shall shake. And I the Lord shall utter my voice, and all the ends of the earth shall hear it, and the nations of the earth shall mourn, and they that have laughed shall see their folly. And calamity shall cover the mocker and the scorner shall be consumed, and they that have watched and acted in the ways of iniquity shall be hewn down and cast into the fire. And then shall they weep because of their iniquities; then shall they lament because they persecuted their king.
Now behold I say that Satan shall be bound, that he shall have no place in the hearts of the children of men. And at that day, when I shall come in my glory, shall the parable be fulfilled which I spoke concerning the ten virgins. For I make it known unto you that they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived, verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day.
For I the Lord shall be in their midst, and my glory shall be upon them, and I will be their king and their lawgiver.
Now, behold, I say unto you, it shall not be given unto you to know any further concerning this, I have made it known unto my servant Joseph and it is to be found in the Doctrine and Covenants that I gave unto him and in it all these things are made known
For verily I say unto you, that great things await you; For you hear of wars in foreign lands, you hear of the destruction and the misery that they may bring, for it has been told you that these wars are coming unto you and you have read the Prophet Jeraneck prophesy these things unto you. Behold my Servant Matthew I say unto you, they are nigh, even at your doors, and not many years hence ye shall hear of wars in your own lands.
Wherefore I, the Lord, have said, unto my church that you must gather yourselves out from the lands that you now inhabit and I have told you to assemble yourselves together. Elders of my church; go forth into the north countries, but before I charge you to come out you must cry unto the inhabitants of your land to repent, and inasmuch as they do repent, you have been charged to build up the church unto me.
Now my servant tell my church that they are to act with one heart and with one mind, and I command that you gather up your riches that ye may purchase an inheritance which shall hereafter be appointed unto you.
And it shall be called Zion’s Camp and it shall be a land of peace, a place of refuge, a place of safety for the saints of the Most High God; And the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it, and it shall be called Zion’s Camp. Now I say unto you that the day will shortly come to pass, that every man that will not take his sword against his neighbour must flee unto Zion’s Camp for safety. And there shall be gathered at Zion’s Camp all the righteous of thy seed and a nation will be formed and it will be formed under heaven; and it shall be the only place save Zion in Jackson County Missouri that shall not be at war one with another. And it shall be said among the wicked: Let us not go up unto Zion’s Camp and let us do battle against the people of Zion’s Camp, for the inhabitants of Zion’s Camp are terrible; wherefore let us destroy them from of the land.

Hearken my people and fear not for I the lord will move upon the people of this land and I say that it shall come to pass that the righteous shall be gathered out from among this land, For this land is a blessed land and I the lord will not permit my saints to be destroyed upon it and I say unto you that the righteous amongst the nation shall come to Zion’s Camp singing with songs of everlasting joy.
And now I say unto you, keep these things from going abroad unto the world until it is expedient in me, that ye may accomplish the work of crying repentance unto the people and until you have built up my church unto me and until your work can be more fully seen in the eyes of your enemies, that they may not know your works until ye have accomplished the thing which I have commanded you, that when they shall know it, that they may consider these things.
For when I the Lord shall appear he shall be terrible unto them, that fear may seize upon them, and they shall stand afar off and tremble.
And all nations shall be afraid and all nations shall tremble that have not gathered unto Zion’s Camp or Jackson County Missouri and because they have not gathered the terror of the Lord, and the power of my might will seize their very souls. Even so. Amen.

This was given by revelation to our Prophet. The following was also received by the same power and authority.

Revelation concerning the feast of Passover.

Hearken, O my servant, my Prophet, for verily I say unto you that I the lord am most displeased with the world for they have taken my sacrifice and they have desecrated it and they have set it at naught. Behold I say unto you that it is not pleasing unto me that Easter be celebrated amongst my church in the manner in which it is being done. For it is a celebration that mocks me and it is done in memory of a pagan God. Now I say unto you that it is expedient unto me that these things be done away with and that they not be done in my name for my name sacred and shall not be cast down amongst the swine for them to feast upon.
Now it was in the days of old that a feast of Passover was kept amongst the godly and blessed ones and it was at this time that I gave my self a ransom unto the world and it was at this time that I the Lord God become the Passover for I had passed over from life which is corruptible into the eternal world which is incorruptible.
Wherefore beware lest ye are deceived that you think that I the lord am not displeased for I say with power that I am displeased, for verily I say unto you that they have corrupted my name and taken away my purpose. Now behold hearken unto my voice and take this unto my church and say unto them that they are no longer to pollute my name and my sacrifice with this pagan feast, and say unto them that they are to hold the Passover at the time that is called amongst you Easter. For behold you are to come to me as did my apostle Paul in the fifth chapter of the Corinthians and I say unto you go hence and read and you will know in your heart what it is I have asked of you.
Wherefore come unto me at the time you call Easter and lay a feat at your table in my honour and lay upon the alter table well prepared and cooked lamb which is a similitude of me and also bring before me unleavened bread mixed with bitter herbs that you may remember that I suffered in the garden and upon the cross for you. Behold I say that this is not to take away the sacredness of the sacrament but it is to prove unto me that I the lord am remembered amongst you and that my sacrifice is not set at naught.
Hearken unto my voice and take cheer and do not fear for I the lord am with you and I will stand by you and you shall bear record of me even Jesus Christ that I am the son of the living God that I am and always will be the saviour of the world.
Now concerning the Passover when I the lord see that it is pleasing unto me I will lay at your feet seven blessings now these blessings are thus.
Behold I will send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared for thee.
Behold if you
obey my voice, and provoke me not I will pardon your transgressions: for my name is law.
If thou indeed obey my voice and feast at the Passover I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
Mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the non believer and if they will not hearken unto thy voice I will cut them off.
Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and break down their images.
I the Lord will take sickness away from the midst of thy people and with this there shall no barren amongst thy women and in the land I have promised thee I will fulfil all your days.
And I will set thy bounds of Zion’s Camp even unto the sea and I will deliver the inhabitants of the land who seek refuge into your hands. And thou shalt build up a nation unto me in Zion’s Camp
Now hearken unto my word that the feast of the Passover must be reinstituted amongst you and it must be done as a remembrance of me for am I not the ultimate Passover? These are the words that I have spoken unto you and they are the words of god. Even so. Amen

Greetings from the Latter Day Church of Christ. We have had a very eventful couple of weeks from the last time we posted on the blog site. A number of new revelations have been given to the church from the Lord. They have given very specific things that we must do first with regards to the building up of Zion’s Camp and then secondly the celebration of Easter and the Passover. The Lord has given the church the charge to build up his church and to cry repentance unto the inhabitants of the British Isles. We at The Latter Day Church of Christ will go forth and proclaim to the nation repentance and we must stand firm. We must be valiant and live up to the responsibility that Lord has given us. We will not look back upon our nation as did Mormon and Moroni and weep for the loss of a great people. We here at The Latter Day church of Christ are willing to do whatever the Lord asks to bring all who will listen in to the fold of the mighty Shepard even the very Saviour Jesus Christ.

Without going too much in to that on the blog site let me just say that these revelations are wonderful news to the church they clarify points of interest and they also clarify points of doctrine. The hardback copies of the Book of Jeraneck have now been delivered to us. The new meeting house is now on order and we will soon be in our new home. The church has been given permission by the local council to conduct missionary work in the local town of Burton-upon-Trent. We aim to spend as much of our time in the town handing out pass along cards and also speaking and teaching with people.

It has come to the attention of the church that some of you who read this wish to find out more about the church. Please feel free to contact us and speak to us. Please make arrangements to come and worship with us on Sundays. All are very welcome to come and see us and ask us any questions that you might have. We are here as representatives of the Saviour. You will see the times of our meetings on the previous blog.

We hope you all have a great week and we look forward to speaking with whoever wants to find out more about the work that we are engaged in. God Bless.

It has been a wonderful week for the church this week finally the Books of Jeraneck have been delivered and we are in the process of going through them and readying them. We are being blessed so much as a church and now that we have these wonder books that bear witness of the Saviour and of the Ancient inhabitants of this country we can see how much the Lord has blessed us. The book Jeraneck testifies of the former ancient inhabitants of this great country. It tells of their trials their victories their loves and their losses. The Book of Jeraneck testify of the peoples love of the Saviour and how we can feel apart of that love. It tells of their many Prophets and their dealings with the Lord this truly is a great time for the people of this nation. The Lord has revealed his love for us by giving this book to us as a witness that he has always been looking out for us and that he has blessed this land that we now inhabit. Many of the things that we now take for granted in our worship have been clarified through reading the Book of Jeraneck. Many new things have been added upon. We are for the first time readings about new things that need to be done within the temple and things that don’t need to be done. What a great gift we have been given form the Lord.

We have made enquires about getting some concept art work done for the Book of Jeraneck and we are still waiting to hear back from the artist involved. We hope to be able to make them available for sale to all and to have them in the second edition of the book.

Moving on from the Book of Jeraneck the Prophet has had another revelation given to him concerning the days to come and the troubles that await us. This revelation was more for the members of the church than it was for those outside of the church but the message is still relevant for all. We need to prepare for the times of darkness that are coming. We need to be not only spiritually prepared but also physically. The church is gathering food and medicine and all kinds of provisions to be taken to Zion’s camp when it is set up. Zion’s camp will represent a place of refuge form the coming storms were all who wish to be protected can go and seek that safety that will be found wonting by most people who are not prepared. We have seen what happens to a people when they depart from the ways of the lord the many books of scripture testify of that and we are going to be prepared for any eventuality.

The invitation is still open to all those who wish to come and listen to a living Prophet, he is here and he is led by God. We hope to see you on Sunday.

(The Latter Day Church of Christ would like to send it deepest condolences to Sister Barbara Taylor whose husband brother Rod Taylor went home to his Father in Heaven this week. Although they are not members of our congregation we have known them both for a very long time and we wish Sister Taylor all the best during this trying time...)
